Draws Galore in the Coca-Cola Championship

England’s second tier football division, the Coca-Cola Championship, kicked off this weekend with a flurry of draws.

Based on previous season openings, I had anticipated a quiet opening weekend, and had bet on a draw for every fixture. With twelve fixtures and every draw paying over $3.00, I needed four games to result in a tie. With one game to go this weekend, I already have eight!

Anyone who had bet on a 1-1 draw for each fixture would also have done very well this weekend.

Middlesbrough   vs   Sheff Utd   —   0-0
West Brom   vs   Newcastle   —   1-1
Watford   vs   Doncaster   —   1-1
Sheff Wed   vs   Barnsley   —   2-2
Reading   vs   Nottm Forest   —   0-0
QPR   vs   Blackpool   —   1-1
Preston   vs   Bristol City   —   2-2
Leicester   vs   Swansea   —   2-1
Derby   vs   Peterborough   —   2-1
Crystal Palace   vs   Plymouth   —   1-1
Cardiff   vs   Scunthorpe   —   4-0
Coventry   vs   Ipswich   —

Football is the sport I have historically performed the best at with betting so I’m delighted to have a new season underway.
