A strong sprint but limited pace. Our dear friend ISORICH can lead them up but most of these like to do their work from off the pace. I have 1,4,3 as handy. MUSIC MAGNATE has never run poorly fresh and two winning trials won’t put anyone off him. He’s the quality G1 winner here and I doubt his 2017 was aided much by a succession of wet track runs. I would expect him to end it with an authoritative win though. LE CORDON BLEU is definitely a dry track galloper and he trialled really nicely last week. ECKSTEIN doesn’t have the same fresh record as hose two but is unbeaten at 1200m and she is a dynamic finisher.

MUSIC MAGNATE first-up after 31 week spell and undefefeated in two lead-up trials, hard to go past. ECKSTEIN narrowly beaten at long odds last start in the Empire Rose Stakes and drops to preferred distance, sneaky chance. DOTHRAKI trial win in the 28 days since last race adds confidence and generally races near the speed, place hope. MY COUNTRY let-up for eight weeks and has gone well on a softer track, quinella.
